These images showcase the talents and fierce competition between the freestyle dancers as they battled it out to win the crowd’s votes. I was fortunate enough to stumble across this event during a routine photo walk and was quickly swept up in its energy; capturing the dancers' dynamic movements while taking moments to turn the lens on the eclectic crowd. The harsh midday light creates striking contrasts, alongside that of urban vibes against an iconic Australian backdrop.
